In glimpses of light at tunnels end
   We gain the strength to persevere
   Our night’s desolate darkness
   And ebb the flooding tide of fear.
The depths of despair we transcend
   With newly acquired eyes for sight
      And become immersed in the beam
      Of all expanding awareness
      To wake us from the nightmarish dream.
   Oneness grows, melting wrong or right,
Differences can no longer rend
   Any choice between black and white
   In the glow of everlasting light.
